Combining to create balance is a science, toning it down to make it stand out is an art.

My personal style has evolved as it should with any man who seeks to find ‘his own’ true personal style.  We are bombarded with images that showcase fashion globally, and it’s hard sometimes to not get caught up in trends.  Ultimately personal style should be about what works for the individual in terms of taste, personality, and lifestyle.
I’ve moved away from ‘uptight looks’ and feel that my look should always reflect my ‘laid back’ personality, and mirror my lifestyle.
I use to have a closet full of ties, I slowly purged the excess and am a firm believer in quality over quantity.  My last two ties are the ones pictured from Passaggio Cravatte.  Original vintage fabrics, handmade, bespoke, 100% silk (left) and 100% cashmere (right).  While I enjoy vintage, for me it must be recreated to reflect the new times.  These two ties came in, 6 went out.  With these 2 ties I could have unique & rare vintage fabrics, but the bespoke perspective is that the ties are modern - both in terms of cut and feel, tailored to my specific liking.
To me Street Style is more than showing images, it’s promoting artists, sharing history, showing you what mainstream media is late to show you.  I could care less about chasing trends, I’m already 2 seasons ahead.
