In the pas 5 years I have yet to leave home without a hat, for me it’s one of those things that help in defining ones style or exposes ones lack of style.  There’s just something special in which hat one decides to wear and how one chooses to wear it.

In time I have gone from multiple brands to now only 2 - I certainly have come to appreciate that all hats are not created equal.  While in Milan, Italy I had the chance to visit the showroom of one of the most iconic hat brands - Borsalino (which is one of the 2 brands I regularly wear).  While I don’t easily get excited, I must admit a hat man in a hat showroom is kind of like a kid in a candy store, in my case just minus the running around.  I won’t write too much about the product - it speaks for itself (plus you can easily read about it on their site).  What I will say is that there is a certain mystic in tilting a Borsalino brim, something out a black and white movie that whispers COOL when COOL wasn’t the latest trend on the internet, when COOL was about living life with a certain ‘joie de vivre’.

One of the things I most like about Borsalino is that the quality is as woven into the brand as its history.
