While in Milan I make it a point to visit show rooms to discover new brands and or re-establish relationships with older brands. My last visit to Milan was no different, in fact I ended up looking at more collections than usual.
Let’s talk Denis Frison.
Right off the bat this collection seemed to be more about ‘a feel’ than ‘a look’. This was not about mixing the old with the new, nor was it about new technology, instead it was about a ‘comfortable feel for the man of style’. What stood out was the choice of colors, and what the clothes evoked - the collection leaves room for the wearer’s interpretation without dictating a look. In short the collection was about possibilities - your possibility to pick and choose pieces that easily work with what you may already have.
