Shot for GQ Japan
This was my first trip to Japan, and I had the opportunity not only to photograph, but also create videos for GQ Japan. While the collaboration in itself was great, the icing on the cake was that I had the chance to meet and chat with some of the most influential men in Japanese fashion and style. It was a pleasure, a learning experience, and honor.

While the light light tends to shine on the attendees at Pitti Uomo in Florence Italy, one sometimes forgets that Pitti is so much bigger than photos of well dressed chaps. It’s about quality product, excellent craftsmanship and great brands. It’s always a pleasure visiting the good people at ETON. Enjoy.

While many people think Pitti Uomo is solely about great men of style, those in the know understand that style and product are never too far apart. Once again I am happy to share a few more brands from Pitti Uomo that stay on my radar.
The video was shot exclusively for GQ Japan.

Thank you GQ Japan for allowing me to share the product and thanks Ko and H.lee for your teamwork.
Thank you Manuel Vanni, Want les Essentiels de la Vie, and Grenson Shoes.
Part of the beauty of Pitti (Florence, Italy) is being able to to see first hand the great products coming from both known and unknown brands. Here’s a short clip of 3 Brands that were among 3 of my favorite shot exclusively for GQ Japan.
Eton of Sweden, Sciamat, Super Duper Handmade Hats.

Gentlemen of Style (Part 2)
A true pleasure coming up with a concept, getting the right team together (Ko Tsuchiya on Video and editting, H. Lee on Original Music, and myself Directing), finding the perfect subjects (Matteo Gioli, Nick Wooster, Nicola Ricci, Devon Scott, and Sam Lambert), the right collaborator GQ Japan …. and seeing the results.
